About Us

Beal Street Academy grew out of the Fluency Factory, a Precision Teaching learning center that provides tutoring to students of all ages. We created Beal Street Academy to provide a full day program that could rapidly remediate learning issues, and provide support to students who were not successful in their school placements.

BSA uses Precision Teaching and Direct Instruction, along with a wealth of additional learning materials, to assure that students become independent, active learners who are able to confidently take on even the most demanding challenges. Our students have attained two to four years of academic growth for every year in the program.

Our combination of well trained teachers and carefully selected curricula are extremely effective, and our use of positive reinforcement has meant that our students love the school.
